Department of Economics has established in 1994. Dr.Bhausaheb Y. Deshmukh & Dr. Mohan Shinde have been working as a Faculty member in this department . From 1994 the department have been conducting various academic activities  i.e Educational Tour, Survey, visits to Industry, stdudents seminar etc. Dr. Bhausaheb Deshmukh ( Associate Prof & Head ,Dept. of Economics ) is recognized Ph.D guide of Savitribai Phule Pune University since 2008. There are 20 students have acuired M.Phil degree and 2 students have got Ph.d degree under the guidance Dr. Deshmukh.
